Jurassic Park NV Goggles

I’ve been slowly working on my own pair of Jurassic Park NV Goggles as shown in the Jurassic Park movie. Starting with the “Goatfinder” 3D print files, I printed off the parts out of ASA (took over 3 days!), sanded like crazy, applied leveling putty to hide the layer lines, wet sanded, and finally had a smooth finish.

I won a few beat up and non-functional Konica AiBORG cameras on eBay and harvested their lenses, confirmed by others before me to be the exact ones used in the movie prop. Currently, I’m stuck getting the lenses mounted properly with the motors in a functional state, as seen in the movie. I know it’s possible as others have figured it out, but details are scarce, so I’m working through it on my own.
