YJ Rear Foglight Brackets

Want to install the screen-accurate JP rear foglights on your YJ, but too scared to drill into the body? Do you have a hardtop and noticed the rear foglights interfere with the rear window hatch opening? I have a solution! These rear foglight brackets are designed for the KMC/KC foglights as used on the Jurassic Park YJs. These sandwich between the body and the rear taillights, no body drilling required! A handy channel down the middle of the bracket gives you room to route the power and ground wires for the foglight to the existing wiring hole. These brackets will allow you to wire the rear foglights however you like without necessitating drilling holes in the Jeep tub or the rear lights. There is a factory rubber grommet in the driver's left rear corner of the tub than can be used for running your wiring. This is the how the factory taillight wiring harness is run.

For those with hardtops, a simple one-handed twist loosens the bracket axle allowing the light to slide forward and tip down, giving plenty of clearance for the rear glass window to swing up. A flat is the cross bolt keeps it from spinning while tightening the thumb nut. The cross bolts are larger than the factory screws, and you will need to expand the mounting holes on the foglights to 10mm.

The brackets are made from aircraft grade aluminum and are powdercoated black. Due to the powdercoat, the brackets themselves cannot be used as a ground, and a separate ground wire will need to be run to your KMC lights.
